Should the citizens of a country be responsible for caring for all the medical needs for veterans?

No. I don’t believe citizens should be held responsible for the needs for veterans. Yes, they went to war for our country, and yes they risked their lives, but we didn’t ask them too. Most of them made that decision on their own. Then, most of them fought for the president, not us, not the citizens of the country. There are programs such as Veterans health care program, Tricare and Spina bifida health care benefit programs (HealthCare.gov).
