Is the world better off or worse off from your group development or invention?

The invention that I did a presentation on was chemical warfare. Chemical warfare  is warfare using the toxic properties of chemical substances to kill, injure or incapacitate an enemy. About 70 different chemicals have been used as Chemical Weapons agents during the 20th century (sciencedaily.com). The world is better off without this invention because if it’s in the wrong hands, many innocent people will die just by breathing in the wrong air. They’ll die without even knowing.
