Traits necessary for being a successful lawyer

Every lawyer should have good communication skills. They should be a good listener and have good public speaking skills. As a lawyer you’ll have to argue convincingly in the courtroom before judges and juries. Have good public speaking skills will help. Writing clearly, persuasively, and concisely is essential also because lawyers have to write legal documents. Other skills lawyers should have are: Judgement skills, Analytical skills, Research skills, People skills, Perseverance, and Creativity (Sofia Gymer). The type of person that would be bad at being a lawyer is someone who doesn’t have patience, doesn’t have the intellect about being a lawyer, someone who only cares about money and someone who doesn’t have good communication skills.
