Every lawyer should have good communication skills. They should be a good listener and have good public speaking skills. As a lawyer you’ll have to argue convincingly in the courtroom before judges and juries. Have good public speaking skills will help. Writing clearly, persuasively, and concisely is essential also because lawyers have to write legal documents. Other skills lawyers should have are: Judgement skills, Analytical skills, Research skills, People skills, Perseverance, and Creativity (Sofia Gymer). The type of person that would be bad at being a lawyer is someone who doesn’t have patience, doesn’t have the intellect about being a lawyer, someone who only cares about money and someone who doesn’t have good communication skills.

I want to be a lawyer when I grow up and have my own law firm. The average pay for a Lawyer in Florida is $117,270 (sokanu). I want to stay in Philadelphia because there’s a lot of individuals who aren’t getting the justice they deserve due to the color of their skin. Making this much would put me in the upper middle class. Knowing this isn’t a lot of money, it’s just enough for me. I wouldn’t change my career just for money. I want to be happy where I work, and I love helping/defending people.

Households in Philadelphia have a median annual income of $46,116 (datausa). This is much lesser than the median annual income of $61,937 across the United States (datausa). I would consider this the “middle class” cause the people I know do not make that much a year. The people who make that much income or more a year are the ones who have an actual job which pays a lot. Rich is the ones who make that amount and higher, and the poor is the ones who make less than $25,000. Most of us make lesser than that a year.

A subsidized product in the United States government is milk. Bread, cheese, ice cream and butter would be more expensive if they didn’t have milk in them. Paying more for food is worth it for reducing waste because we need to reduce waste.

In 2017, about 15 million american households were food insecure (dosomething.org). Being food insecure means lacking reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food. There are multiple programs to help people who are food insecure such as : Community Food Projects Competitive Grant Program, and the Food Insecurity Nutrition Incentive Grant Program (FINI). The FINI program supports projects to increase the purchase of fruits and vegetables among low-income consumers (nifa.usda.gov). Things such as food drives can help food insecurity.

I’d say that we are wasteful, but not as much as other countries. I’m not just talking about polluting the earth either. Immigrants come to america to live the “American dream”, or for the advancements that we have that their country didn’t have. But we Americans don’t appreciate what we have. We waste our advantages and get mad when immigrants take it. We’re very ungrateful. We don’t realize how good we have it compared to other countries, which is why I call us wasteful.

The country that consumes the most calories is Austria. Austria was at the top of the list calorie intake list with an average of 3,769 calories consumed per day (Hurst). The average woman needs to eat 2,000 calories per day to maintain her health, and men need to eat 2,500 (Gunnars). I don’t believe that the food consumption is unjust.

In Philadelphia, the minimum wage is $7.25. If I were paid for going to school I would make $58 a day which is $290 a week. For basketball, I would get paid $14.50 everyday, for the 2 hours I have basketball practice, and the times when I have a basketball game. For a week I would have $58. Also, when I have chores, I should get paid $7.25 for every chore I do. I do about 2 chores a day which is $14.50 and for 2 days on the weekends, I should be paid $29 a week. Overall, I would make $377 a week.

Green technology tech refers to technology that is environmentally friendly based on its production process (Kenton). The goal is to protect the environment and repair damage from the past. An example of green technology is recycling. Green tech can be used to recycle waste and other things. Recyclable material can be used for plastics, fertilizer, and fuel (Kenton). There’s a lot of talk about running out of fuel. With recycling, we can make fuel instead of depending on natural resources. You don’t have to pay money to recycle.

Not the average Americans support the military. I believe they respect it but not support it. This doesn’t make them unpatriotic though. Everyone has a freedom of speech and people don’t have to support anything they don’t want too. Also as they treat the military and the veterans who have served with respect, then there’s no issue. I believe that the military and the people that serve do deserve respect for risking their lives without being forced.
